Sciensus are currently looking for a Bank Healthcare Support Worker in Watford. We are looking for a talented, patient focused clinician to join our fantastic team working in partnership with Watford Hospital NHS Trust. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will deliver gold standard, one to one, holistic care in the comfort of the patient’s home.
You will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering gold standard care. The role involves working under the direct supervision of a registered practitioner, to support patients in their own homes with personal care, wound care, answering patients queries and supporting service delivery logistics.
In essence we are looking for candidates who are dedicated to offering outstanding professional patient care, it’s at the heart of what you do.
As this is a regional role travelling to visit patients in their home setting, it is crucial that you have full UK driving licence.

This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply:
- Previous care experience, ideally within a community setting and be confident in reporting clinical observations.
- You also need to have strong communication skills, including actively listening, communicating sensitively and putting people at ease
- An NVQ within healthcare and being able to take bloods would be an advantage.
