We are seeking a compassionate and caring Support Worker who is capable of working with individuals who need a personal and individualised level of care. This can involve live-in or homecare services, as well as hospice visits, depending on the individual's needs. Our Support Workers should have a background in either health care or social work, and should be capable of working gracefully within the company's interdisciplinary team in order to provide the highest standard of homecare services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks and personal care activities.
- Assist and be a companion to elderly and terminally ill patients.
- Work directly with patients on a daily basis.
- Keep current in clinical and technical knowledge.
- Communicate with physicians and other health care providers.
- Manage patient care plans.
- Provide medical, emotional, and social support to patients.
- Be an advocate for patients' rights.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Salary: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
