About the Role
As a Support Worker/ Life Practitioner you’ll be an integral part of the team, teaching young people life skills in context and support them to integrate these skills. We’ll give you all the training you’ll need.
You’ll contribute to and promote the development of young peoples’ communication, self-help, and independence skills - undertaking actions devised by other specialist colleagues, such as speech therapists and educational psychologists and providing feedback on sessions. Plus, support individuals with maintaining and improving their health and supporting emotional needs, always promoting increased independence. Support Workers participate in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational activities such as trips to the Safari Park or local restaurants.
Providing care and education to people we support is at the centre of all our decision making, with the ambition to enable them to fulfil their most meaningful life.
About You
If you have a background in support/care work, great, we’ll work with you to develop you to where you want to get to, however, you don’t need a background in care to become a Support Worker, just a caring approach and passion for helping others.
We offer flexible hours to suit your family life – full-time and days or nights:
Hours – Days - 43.5hrs per week. 13-hour days, starting at 7.30am and finishing at 8.30pm (1 hour break).
Hours – Nights The roles are 38.5hrs per week. 7:30pm – 7:30am
The rota pattern is typically a 2-week rota. Week 1 works Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun. Week 2 works, Wed and Thu.

Pay transparency:
The Life Practitioner salary starts at e (£10.89 ph) and can increase to £28,116.66 (£12.43 ph) depending on your experience and development.
We also offer enhanced hourly rates on additional hours, for those who choose to work overtime.
