We are looking for a team of people to support a young woman in her own flat in Brighton and Hove. She would like her support workers to be into music, being active, cooking, going out and having fun.
The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity that has been working with people with learning disabilities since 1898, across Sussex. Our mission is to be led by people with learning disabilities in the delivery of high-quality housing, support, employment, and activities in their local communities.
A brief outline of the role:
The role will be supporting her to be as independent as possible in all her daily tasks. You will be required to support her to access college, maintain her tenancy, learn new skills around cooking and help her with her predictable routines and structure. Having knowledge of Autism is desirable for the role.
This job involves day, evening and weekend working and sleeping in duties on a rota.
