Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS is currently seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team in the Trafford area. We are offering an attractive rate of £35 per hour for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with individuals dealing with mental health challenges within the community.
Provide comprehensive assessments to identify needs and develop personalized care plans.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to offer the best possible support and treatment.
Offer guidance, counseling, and practical support to promote well-being and independence.
Advocate for clients rights and ensure access to relevant services and resources.
Requirements:
Qualified Adult Social Worker with relevant experience in mental health settings.
Understanding of mental health legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
