Social Work Assistant (Placements)
Permanent
Full Time 37 hours
Grade 7 £24,044 - £26,740 depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work across the Fostering, Payments and Placements team within the Children, Young People and Families Directorate.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has the best interests of looked after children at heart when finding placements and can work under pressure on their own but as part of a team, in a busy office environment.
- Preference in an understanding of fostering legislation, but not essential.
- Can work with large data sets and provide data to management on a regular occasion
- Can gather data and use this affectively to help and support data returns within deadlines
- Has experience of working with the general public on a face-to-face basis
- Can build and maintain relationships with our foster carers
You will a need to have the ability, and experience of, working directly with members of the public face to face as well as on the phone and by email.
