More about your role

We are looking for a Social Value Project Coordinator to join our small team. Your role will be to help coordinate and facilitate Places Impact's digital inclusion, wellbeing activity, employability and welfare and energy support projects. This will include face to face work including frequent travel in our neighbourhoods (we can be flexible on location) and remote phone calls and online sessions working from home or our offices. You will work with partners to identify and link to support available from other sources and maximise the impact of these projects by delivering effective customer support, communications, monitoring, evaluation, and research.

The role will be Agile/Homebased with approximately 50% of your time travelling across our communities, visiting and helping our customers with various value-added tasks, therefore, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role (fuel will be reimbursed). You will also be required to attend team meetings in Leeds or Preston on a quarterly basis.

More about you

You will be able to evidence your interest and understanding of social value. Ideally you will have experience supporting vulnerable people and an understanding of the barriers they may face. We are looking for an ambitious individual with good communication skills (written and verbal) who is confident with an ability to talk to colleagues in a professional manner. The most important quality we require is an openness and eagerness to learn new skills and the ability to multi- task when under pressure. You will have some experience working with a number of IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel however, full training will be given to the successful applicant.
