Job description
Key information
We are currently working with a hybrid working model, where there is the option of working from home combined with 4-12 days a month of working in the office.
About this role
We want to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health. Join us as our Social Media Video Officer and play a vital role in achieving our vision.
The Social Media Video Officer will be responsible for making video content for social media and the wider organisation. Our social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Tik Tok) play a critical role in helping us to reach our key audiences of young people, parents and professionals.
The primary focus of this role is to develop video ideas and create consistent short form video content for Tik Tok, Instagram reels and YouTube shorts – in line with our social media strategy.
The secondary focus of this role is to create longer form video content for YouTube and our website, and to support the wider organisation with their video needs. You will work in a test-and-learn environment where you will be encouraged to build on insights, to experiment and take risks.
About you
The successful candidate will:
- have exposure in filming videos using a DSLR camera and mobile phones
- have experience of creating video content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver video briefs
- be able to organise and set up video shoots independently (including setting up cameras, audio, lighting and backdrops)
- edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro
We welcome applications from Black and Minoritised and LGBTQIA+ groups as they are currently under-represented.
We hope that you would like to join us at a very exciting stage of our growth and development. You’ll be joining a bright, dynamic team who have a passion for supporting our ambitions.
And what’s better than enjoying your work in beautiful surroundings and within our offices which are just a stone’s throw from the historic Shad Thames and Tower Bridge!
