NOTE! This is an editing only job (no videography involved).
As a Social Media Video Editor for the Julius Dein team you will be in charge of editing viral videos and publishing these videos on a FB page with over 40 million followers.

Responsibilities:
As a social editor for the Julius Dein team your work will include editing content to go viral on Snapchat / Facebook/ Instagram / Youtube / TikTok and more. Your main job will be the editing part. This will involve editing raw clips, adding watermarks, trimming down dull moments, writing and adding subtitles - all to ultimately create high retention throughout the video and help it go VIRAL!
Other areas that you may be involved in include helping with creative video concepts e.g. helping strategise and implement video ideas and collaborating on strategy to dominate new social platforms - e.g. working on Youtube vlogs / shorts/ reels etc.
Requirements
You are definitely a match if you...
- Are fluent in English, with impeccable grammar and punctuation skills.
- Have enthusiasm around video editing and social media content.
- Have excellent video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Have a thorough understanding of the different social media platforms.
- Understand storytelling on social media, and what makes an engaging, shareable story.
- Have experience working to strict deadlines and targets.

Where is the job? What is the compensation?
Our offices are in London, UK, and we'd love to see you in person every now and again. However we do work flexibly and remotely, and so we'd be interested to hear from you even if you're not in London.

What will I be editing?
The main content themes include (but are not limited to): comedy / satire / sketches / magic / vlogs / pranks / and a variety of content from other Julius + other creators in the team. This role will also include editing together of compilations of sourced material.
