What you'll do
  • You will help to manage our agency partners, co-ordinating the deliver all of our social media content creation and planning process across our brand, menu and channel driven content - integrating this across other channels as required
  • Based on your social media expertise, you will continually look to develop relevant and topical ideas to engage our social audiences and look to maximise the impact of our social content via pro-active community management on an ongoing basis
  • With the support of our channel owners, you will help develop content that drives both brand engagement and commercial performance ensuring we deliver to a consistently
    high standard
  • Working with the wider Brand Communications team, you will support in the delivery of our brand activations and campaigns as required to ensure they have a social first lens, managing and co-ordinating our key agency partners across relevant channels
  • Working with our Retail Brand team, you will lead on the creation of photography for our digital channels and social media content
  • With support, you will help manage agency partners, writing briefs and providing feedback, as well as challenging creative direction to maintain brand standards
  • Working with our Performance and Planning and CRM teams, you will support on paid social campaigns ensuring the right balance is always delivered across brand and performance objectives
  • With a strong understanding of social media performance and trends, you will play an instrumental role in the creation and development of our social content across platform – by creating content in-house and/or working with agency partners
  • You are seen as the go to expert internally on social media trends, reactive opportunities, video production, content creation and measurement as well as the execution of our brand tone of voice on social channels
  • Working alongside our Customer Care team, you’ll use community management to nurture and grow our social audiences, offering guidance on tone of voice and actively managing responses on brand led content
About you

You will fit right into this role if:

  • Have experience working in social media management and working with and managing agency partners
  • Have experience in video and photography content creation within an agency/client organisation
  • Have previous experience analysing and learning from social performance metrics
  • Have proven experience in creation and delivery of cross-channel content plans
  • You are a creative thinker with experience of evaluating and executing across channel
  • You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment that’s ambitious and constantly looking to deliver the best work possible.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have a strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Are highly computer literate in all Microsoft packages, e.g. Outlook, Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Process strong organisation, planning and analytical skills
  • Are qualified within Marketing – degree, Masters or relevant professional qualification

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Support Manager to join our fantastic team here at Greggs.

Working within our Brand Communications team, you will play a key role in the creation, execution and analysis of our social media content across channel. With support, you will use your passion for digital culture and social trends to lead on the creation and execution of all social assets, including copy, photography and video.

Developing our brand tone of voice across social channels, you will help develop how we communicate the personality of Greggs with creative digital storytelling across our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Threads.

The Digital Content Support Manager will be based at Greggs House, Q9, Quorum Business Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8BU
