The V&A’s Marketing Department is responsible for building the V&A brand and nurturing audience relationships across the UK and globally. With a fully integrated approach to all aspects of marketing, insight and audience engagement, the team leads the V&A’s high-profile cross-channel marketing campaigns and partnerships, as well as CRM, visitor acquisition and retention for the V&A’s family of sites.
The social team, within the marketing team attracts and retains audiences for the V&A through the creation and distribution of social content. The team’s focus is building value through our multifaceted social media presence, commercial offer, brand licensing and partnerships.
Working as part of a team of Social Producers, this position will have a focus on Masterbrand and V&A South Kensington, but there will be opportunity to collaborate across the whole portfolio of sites.
Main Job Purpose
This is an opportunity for a social media strategist and content creator to shape and grow the V&A’s dynamic social communities, drawing on the V&A’s rich creative heritage and breaking new ground.
The Social Media Producer is responsible for content creation and day to day management of the V&A’s Masterbrand channels (TikTok, Meta, Twitter and Pinterest) and V&A South Kensington’s permanent collections and exhibitions.
This role requires creative and strategic thinking for developing and delivering inspiring content that grows social media audiences and drives engagement with the V&A and its family of sites. A key element of the role will be determining the social strategy and content plan for V&A South Kensington’s exciting exhibition program, alongside the brand and campaigns team.
