Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters

As a Social Media Photography Volunteer in our Scott Arms Sue Ryder charity shop, play a key role in promoting our range of distinctive fashion clothing as well as our fabulous furniture.

You will provide in-store support to enhance the shop’s Facebook page, to increase our visibility to a wider audience. If you're interested, you can also combine this with our eBay role so you can research unique items and their potential value and entice customers with your unique selling points

The Role – Social Media Photography Volunteer
  • Photographing items, on personal phone
  • Creating attractive shop displays
  • Creating engaging posts on social media
  • Promoting the charity
  • Greeting and helping customers
  • Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented

About you
As a Social Media Photography Volunteer you will:
  • Be able to follow instructions
  • Have good literacy
  • Good knowledge of social media and technology / photo apps
  • Enjoy helping and engaging with customers
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active
  • Ability to work as part of a team
