About the role

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Social Media Officer to join our Guinness Homes Sales & Marketing Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy which is based in Bristol – Aztec West. We are currently operating hybrid working, which offers the opportunity to work 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Specific days to be agreed during the on-boarding process.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to make their mark within the social media profession – you’ll get the autonomy and encouragement to reshape Guinness Homes’ social media strategy with show home tours, pop-up marketing launches, user-generated content, housing show coverage, local lifestyle content, live educational video, snappy Shared Ownership myth-busting reels & much more. It’s a fantastic chance to creatively express yourself and be a champion of the new-look Guinness brand that’s being worked on right now.

You’ll be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in social media or marketing role.
  • Proven experience of producing effective, high-quality social media campaigns.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Experience with social media scheduling & reporting tools (Meta, Hootsuite, Sprout, Falcon or equivalent).
  • Ability to produce insightful social media reports monthly.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to take the initiative.
  • Creative copywriting skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in the housing industry.
  • Working knowledge of Shared Ownership.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or other design software (e.g. Canva, Pixlr).

Essential qualifications:

  • Educated to Level 3 (A-level or equivalent) or higher.
