SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER

Description: Off the Curriculum, an educational charity, is looking for two Social Media Officers to help create content and promote our various endeavours across our social media platforms. The roles advertised are Videographer and Post Creator.

Hours of work: 5 hours per week

Length of role: Open-ended

Main duties of the roles:

• Post Creator: To assist in the creation of social media content (i.e., static posts and posters raising awareness of upcoming events. This will be hosted across our social media platforms- Tik Tok (@offthecurriculum), Instagram (@offthecurriculumlondon), Twitter (@otc_london) and Linkedin (OfftheCurriculumLondon).
• Videographer: To assist in the creation of video posts, such as Instagram reels, Tik Tok videos and promotional videos for the charity website.
• Experience using canva, inkscape, Davinci Resolve or Premiere Pro, or a similar content-creating platform of your preference.
• To engage with our audiences across all social media platforms (i.e., likes, comments, shares, etc.)
• To help curate content which promotes OTC fundraisers, events, workshops and any other kind of public facing events
• To support the Social Media Team with any creative or communicative tasks
• To work collaboratively in developing paid advertising campaigns
• To support all departments of the charity in relation to front-facing communication (i.e., supporting with proof-reading, etc.)
