Social Media & Marketing Intern
Goal:
EMJ, a rapidly growing healthcare publisher is on the lookout for a Social Media Intern to support in developing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with our CEOs personal brand and goals. As a Social Media Intern you will be responsible for creating content for various social media platforms with a focus on the CEOs personal branding, monitoring metrics and supporting internal departments with their marketing efforts.
Were looking for motivated, social media savvy individuals, keen to develop their career in Social Media Management and Marketing. This role suits someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact. You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to create engaging content and juggle multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a social media strategy that aligns with the CEO's personal brand and goals
- Creating and curating content for various social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) that showcases the CEO's expertise and personality
- Engaging with the CEO's audience and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Monitoring and analysing social media metrics to track the success of the CEO's personal branding efforts
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g. marketing, PR) to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure the CEO's personal brand stays relevant and engaging
- As above, supporting Recruitment Marketing efforts for the Head of People and Recruiter(s)
- Photos/videos of office environment and social events, adding to our collateral for Marketing efforts. Supporting the Operations team in ensuring a great office environment
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the CEO's messaging and personality through social media
- Analytical able to track and measure success of campaigns
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple social media platforms and campaigns simultaneously
- Creativity and an eye for design to create visually appealing and engaging social media content
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles to optimise social media content for search engines
- Knowledge of Healthcare/Media/Pharma and target audience to create content that resonates with their interests and needs (desirable)
Key Information:
- Type of role: 3 month internship with the opportunity for a permanent position
- Days of Work: Monday Friday
- Working Hours: 08:30 17:00
- Reports To: Spencer Gore (CEO)
- Salary: £25k (pro rata)
- Location: This role is based on site in our London/Moorgate office
