Social Media / Marketing Executive
Overall Objectives & Overview:
We are a small growing business with a number of fun & exciting online retail brands based around printed and personalised gifts looking to take our social media prescence to the next level. We fully appreciate the need to have a strong social media prescence however until now we haven’t had the resources to be able to fully utilise social media and so it has always been an after-thought. We are now looking for an enthusiastic individual to change all that & take us to the next level.
Working with a number of exciting & fun online retail brands all of which haven’t reached their potential on Social Media.
Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
Analysing the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offering monthly reports to the management team, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan
Creating exciting content for an organisation’s social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts, video and multimedia content.
Content creation is necessary- as is being comfortable with appearing in this content in person.
Identifying& targeting potential influencers to work with our brands.
Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
Ensuring content is scheduled daily across all social platforms driving sales and brand awareness as much as possible
Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to our brands
Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment achieved.
Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
Ensuring all platforms are utilised including; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIN, Youtube, Tiktok, Google My Business etc.
Creating LIVE channels (Facebook Live, Instagram Live, TikTok Shop etc) to boost sales and brand awareness and updating on new project launches.
Working closely with other departments to assist each other on ensuring branding and consistency is maintained across all areas.
Update weekly social media tracker report (Followers, etc)
Brief weekly report keeping the Directors up to date with progress.
Social media content to be posted in line with seasonal trends and on weekends/out of business hours if necessary.

Exceptional written English & grammar
Great Interpersonal skills
Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word), E-Mail .
Ambitious and eager to develop
Great attention to detail.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements
Educational A Level or equivalent
Demonstrate working knowledge of Social Media Management and involvement.
Relevant experience:
Must be an avid user of social media platforms
Must have an established track record of managing and growing social media accounts on multiple platforms.

Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
