With over 30 years of experience in probiotics, coupled with continual research and new product development, ProVen is one of the world's most respected producers of probiotics.
The company is owned and managed by Dr Nigel Plummer, a world-renowned expert in the field of probiotics.
Dr Plummer produced his first human probiotic in 1994, having previously worked in the field of animal probiotics. The products developed by ProVen Probiotics have been used in research relating to allergies, common illnesses and specific digestive complaints and are designed to be used in pregnancy, through infancy, childhood and into adulthood.
You’ll be responsible for helping maintain and develop Pro-Ven’s growing social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
Your time will be spent discovering how to best engage with our audience across multiple channels, outreach, and you’ll work closely with our Graphic Designers to produce original content.
The ideal candidate would also have experience in paid social media advertising.
Your weekly activities could include:
- Scheduling content using Later and Meta Business Suite according to content plan
- Help develop our channels by spotting trends and feeding back to the team to strategise
- Keeping an eye on competitors across all channels to spot potential opportunities
- Reaching out to influencers and companies for potential ads or partnerships
- Engaging with relevant social conversations on our behalf across all channels
- Curating our tone of voice online across all channels
- Discovering new ways to engage and grow different social platforms
- Answering requests or questions about our products (or assigning them to the relevant team member)
- Helping to create targeted ads across multiple channels to generate engagement and brand awareness
- Maintain a strong focus on building our audience and driving traffic to the websites to increase conversions
- Analysing and tracking organic and paid efforts across all platforms
- Gathering insights regularly from all channels to share with the team
What we are looking for:
- Determination to succeed and desire to grow within the organisation long-term
- Experience in a Social Media role or as a Marketing Assistant
- Awareness of social media trends and what makes customers interact with a page
- A passion for social media to create strong online communities
Essentials:
- 2 years in a similar role or relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of all major social platforms
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills
- High attention to detail
- Work well within a team and autonomously
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and willing to learn
- A sound commercial instinct
Desirable experience/knowledge in:
- Paid social media advertising
- Influencer marketing
- The supplements/health/nutrition/lifestyle industry
- Social media scheduling apps like Later and Meta Business Suite
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Business

Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
