We have huge ambition for our social media channels – we want to lead the way in health and beauty, and this role is vital to making this happen.
You’ll work hand in hand with a fellow Social Media Manager and Community Manager, on the delivery of our social media strategy and implementation, however with a focus around all thing’s health and wellness, and a nod to strategy and insight.
You’ll be responsible for propelling our health and wellness proposition forward on social media, making strategic decisions, ideating, briefing content, being reactive, supporting with copywriting, working with influencers and reporting on social media performance. With a 50/50 split of creative and strategy, you’ll need to have experience in both worlds, having led creative projects, with strategic oversight.
About the role:
You’ll work alongside the Head of Social and Content on a social media strategic roadmap, working closely with the wider social and content team to ensure this is implemented. You’ll understand the role social media plays in commercials, and will be confident in data, metrics and measurement – this will enable you to confidently make strategic recommendations that will really set us apart from our competition.
Throughout every part of your role, you’ll confidently use your excellent interpersonal skills to communicate and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Lead the social media plan for health and wellness, ensuring key moments have sufficient, social-first support – this will involve responding to P briefs with relevant, insight-led ideas, and supporting with content creation, briefing and copywriting.
- Responsible for trend research, ensuring our decisions and ideas are always insight led, and we have our fingers on the pulse with upcoming trends & conversations.
- Sprinklr will be your best friend – you’ll fully integrate yourself into our Social Media tool, Sprinklr, to lead our social listening strategy.
- Work alongside our Marketing Manager to build and deliver our Social Media Reports & set and measure KPIs and benchmarks, telling the story internally on our social media successes.
- Oversee the social media planner and work with your fellow social media manager on the holistic plan, ensuring a strong social presence for health and wellness.
- Develop an understanding of our social media audience, how they speak, how they consume content, what they want to know, and how they use channels differently.
- Ensure there is a seamless shopping journey for our social media community and that posts are tagged and accurately analysed.
- Support the Influencer manager with trackable UTM links, to help build a picture of ROI.
- Keeping on top of competitor activity with actions and test & learns recommendations
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a real passion for social media, content and influencer marketing, and a real want to learn and develop in this area
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, tools and best practice platforms
- Awareness of the commercial benefits of social media, and how this is measured and reported back to the business
- An interest in insight and analytics, with an understanding of social media metrics
- Experience in a strategic social media role
- A marketing background, with an understanding of what a good 360 campaign looks like, and what role social media channels play in the marketing mix
- The ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
- Building and managing internal and external relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively adapt style to suit various audiences and channels
