We are seeking a creative and self-motivated individual with previous experience in a marketing or social media role who is able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the social media landscape (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube).
You will be responsible for developing social media processes and best practices, implementing a social media strategy focused on results and growth with defined KPIs to increase brand awareness and maximise customer engagement, driving more traffic to wed2b web resources through social channels.

What you will do
- Planning, coordinating, and implementing on-brand social media campaigns, advising on best activity for maximum engagement to support the execution of marketing/PR campaigns.
- Working closely with the wider team i.e. Marketing Manager, Creative and Brand teams, to develop a consistent and unified tone of voice and develop briefs for all content production, reporting on succession plans.
- Ensure Market Calendar is up to date with all social work streams and events.
- Develop own content or 3PL copy writer.
- Monitor SEO, web and GMB traffic metrics, analyse customer expectations according to past social media activity.
- Establish relationships with social media influencers to be featured on channels or introduce UGC.
Requirements for the role
- Excellent organisational skills – you’ll need to be able to plan your workload, making sure you deliver against key milestones and managing the expectations of your peers.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers.
- A strong team player with a sense of team coordination and collective effort, buying into our hardworking culture to create strong internal and external relationships.
- Technically minded and analytically strong - good experience of web tools, Google Analytics and comfortable using tools such as MS Excel to analyse and visualise data.
- Flexible with a self-motivated attitude who can manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and digital communication skills.
Experience, aptitude and enthusiasm are more important to the role than qualifications. There are no minimum academic qualifications required, although a degree in marketing or social media would be advantageous.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependant on experience
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday
