EXCITING OPPORTUNITY Social Media Content Creator Wanted!
(video and photographic)
We are searching for a First Class experienced Video Content Creator with ambition; a positive person with a can-do attitude. You must be able to easily use core social media platforms to engage our customers. Using both video editing packages and photographic skills, you will ensure consistency in growing our business.
We are an award winning successful group of three family food based pubs covering Garstang, Blackburn and Preston. Each of our venues has its own unique characteristics which we want you to promote and grow.
A driving license is a must.
You will collaborate with our internal sales, marketing and events team to establish a focus on appealing to consumer’s interests, by creating captivating and exciting material to increase our visibility and engagement with new and existing customers.
You will be assessed on the quality of your personality and previous projects, regardless of if you hold a relevant degree or not. So, if you feel you can wow us with your creative content, we absolutely want to meet you!
To be successful, you should have experience in the hospitality industry, creating and managing digital content with an emphasis on video and generating traffic and leads for new business. You will definitely understand the Meta platforms and how paid ads work to increase our presence. We (the whole team) want to see your work on socials and be proud of it…and you!
You will be sending us some of your previous work portfolio ahead of interviews, so listen up!
The team doesn’t believe in being ordinary. If you have a working background in the hospitality sector that would be fabulous, as you will better understand how we all tick!
You will be highly passionate about your role taking care of standards within our business and ensuring all content exceeds our team expectations! We believe in TEAM work - we collaborate - Together Everyone Achieves More... Text book but true!
Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering engaging online content about our Great Pub Food, Great Drinks and Great Hospitality through our Great Team of People.

- Previous experience as a Social Content Creator - We need to see what you have done so if you can’t send us anything then please do not waste our time! Portfolio of applicable outputs - show us what, where and when.
- Knowledge of working with food and beverage and a real passion for the industry is highly desirable. Tell us where and when!
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
- Promote content on social media networks and monitor engagements. What was your budget spend and could you tell me ROI?
- Identify customer’s needs and recommend new topics.
- Demonstrate excellence in writing, proof-reading and editing. The boses grammer is awwful!
- Excellent research, organizational and time management skills. The capacity to work independently and collaboratively. We trust you to use your initiative, we are not micro-managers.
- Confident using Facebook & Instagram... Maybe TikTok if you think it fits our business and you have a good case!
- Sorry folks - this is not a Dolly Parton - 9 to 5 job - but we do believe in a great work life balance! You must understand evenings and weekends are our peak and you will likely need to catch some content during these periods. Yep… we all work about 48 hours a week!
