Job Title: Social Media & Balloon Decorator Supervisor
Job Role: Part Time 20+ per week - varied hours to include weekends. This may develop in to a full time role.
We are looking for a confident creative individual with plenty of personality who can make the job their own.
The perfect role for someone who isn’t wanting a 9 to 5 job. Shift patterns may vary as this role is events orientated, weekend working & after hours / early mornings are a given when decorations are booked.
This role is primarily to create & supervise in creating balloon decorations on and offsite for a variety of occasions, from weddings, christenings and birthdays to car dealerships and events. This role will include creating displays at the shop both inside and out and promoting sales whilst networking at the set-up locations. The successful candidate will be able to generate new business leads in person, via email and telephone, and maintain good working relationships with local venues and companies.
The candidate will be required to take the lead in creating relevant content for several social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, which can also be used for other marketing, and on company websites. They will be expected to teach and work with other employee's on these tasks. The role will include website updates and other online selling platforms such as Ebay, Etsy and Amazon.
The successful candidate will also be trained to work within the busy retail shop, serving customers, taking phone calls, replying to emails and other PC orientated tasks.
Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills and be competent in managing time for themselves and any assistants. The successful candidate must be able to work without supervision with speed, accuracy and consistency. Attention to detail is essential. The role requires both working independently and also as part of a team daily.
The successful candidate must have a driving license and their own vehicle.
Experience
- Social Media, professional or private
- Balloon decorations or similar artistic background
- Customer Relations background
- Some IT knowledge is essential, including all Microsoft Packages
- Some Design package experience is preferred, whether Adobe or online packages for example Canva.
- A proactive attitude within Multi-tasking roles
