Posting: Social Media Strategist (Summer Student)
Effective date: Immediate
Location: Toronto and/or remote (some travel may be required)
Full/Part Time: Full time
On May 28, Steph kicked off Race with Steph - a cross Canada triathlon adventure. Over 113 days, Steph will complete 10 triathlons (2 half ironman’s, 2 olympic, and 6 sprints) with the goal of raising over $250,000 for Alzheimer’s Disease research, and raising awareness for this terrible disease. We’re already well on our way!
In early 2021, Steph’s mum, Dr. Robin McLeod, a renowned surgeon and recent Order of Canada recipient was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Determined to turn this negative news into something positive, Steph created Race with Steph to celebrate her mum, Robin and create national conversation around a disease that carries much stigma, social isolation and embarrassment. There is so much that we don’t know about this disease - let's talk about it! Race with Steph is on a mission to create awareness around Alzheimer’s disease, talk about healthy living, and inspire others to chase after their goals.
