Do you have a passion for social media and a creative flare, inspired by mountain biking? If so, Play Sports Network (PSN) would love to hear from you. As a Social Media Operations Executive, you’ll be responsible for getting GMBN and EMBN content in front of more people and in more places. In this role you’ll focus on GMBN, GMBN Tech, and EMBN, but you’ll have the opportunity to work across all of our channels regularly.

You’ll publish all of our YouTube video content, interact with our audience and work to deliver audience development and social media plans.

You’ll need to know about digital and social media. A passion for MTB and bike tech is a must. Due to the varied nature of the role and the work of the audience development team, knowledge of road cycling is also helpful.

The Role:

Publish engaging and shareable video content to our YouTube and other social media platforms for our GMBN, GMBN Tech and EMBN channels.
Develop engaging thumbnails, title copy and video descriptions which will be optimised for web search traffic
Tag content for commercial reporting
Help to maintain high level of community engagement across all platforms

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

A good knowledge of cycling and bike technology, or the ability to pick this up quickly
Good written English, and able to pick up house style and tone of voice
Excellent focus on customer service and an understanding of how to build / grow an online community
An eye for detail, able to perform essential quality control checks on content, and analyse themes you see emerging in our communities
Basic knowledge of public relations principles to protect and build a brand
