We are hiring a new Social Media Manager into the team at Johnny Loves Rosie as the business continues to grow and develop. The company is growing at a fast rate, and this is your chance to join a team of enthusiastic, driven, and creative people. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the team to work on our Social Media, PR and Website projects. As a fast-growing company, we have an ambitious and expanding publishing schedule across our online marketing channels. The role will involve supporting the Head of Marketing in curating content and copy design assets optimized for Digital Media and our website.
The Role:
- Help with running and executing marketing campaigns across all online platforms, including creating content, editing imagery, copywriting and reporting on analytics.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Support the Marketing Manager on day-to-day tasks.
- Increase brand awareness, engagement on social media and direct traffic to our website.
- Weekly and Monthly reports on the social account with advice on ongoing ideas.
- Ensure the brand voice is strong and consistent across all online platforms.
- Develop and implement email marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as content creators, designers, and data analysts, to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment across marketing channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing and automation, and recommend innovative strategies for continuous growth.
- Merchandising and reporting of the website on a weekly basis to align with marketing calendars.
Tasks can include:
- Content Creation + Copy Creation.
- Image Manipulation.
- Creating + Editing Reels.
- Creating Instagram/ Facebook and Youtube Stories.
- Graphic design for static assets.
- Creating product descriptions and pages for the website.
- Full account scheduling strategies.
- PR Press Releases.
- Influencer Management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 2-3 Years experience in a similar role with strong knowledge and understanding.
- Self-starter and able to use your initiative
- An eye for what works aesthetically on social media and how people are adopting specific trends and formats
- Skill in creating social media graphics using Canva or Photoshop, video editing for short-form content in your preferred software
- The ability to create engaging and information copy that is seo targeted.
- Experience creating and optimising content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Keen interest in social media trends, you will be required to research the latest features across channels
- The ability to understand and immerse yourself in the brand to understand the audience we are reaching
- An understanding of key social media metrics that determine the success of the content and the ability to use that data to inform some creative direction
- Excellent design skills and agility in quick content creation - adapting to new platform features and trends
- A passion for digital and social media
