The Role
Our newly created Social Media Manager role provides an exciting opportunity to maintain our industry leading awareness and build the positive impression of Foxtons with B2B, B2C and recruitment audiences. Working across existing and new social channels (we’re just about to launch TikTok and YouTube but who knows what’s going to be the next cool channel), with multiple internal and external stakeholders who all have a great story to tell and need help telling it. You will take on this challenge and use all owned social media channels to shout about Foxtons from the rooftops. You’ll also collaborate on a regular basis with our Performance Marketing team on paid social campaigns with budget growing as we showcase the power of social media to the business. Working with our in-house copy, design and video teams you’ll ensure we deliver innovative, creative, engaging and highly targeted activity that aligns with our values (Innovative Ambitious, Relentless, Professional and Authoritative) to get everyone to love us…well, maybe not everyone.
Alongside being brilliant at the basics we are constantly looking for innovative ways to raise the profile of Foxtons and drive revenue and profitability growth. Combined we play a central role in decision making across the business, so we’re all good at talking to everyone from the CEO to Analytics, Sales and Finance…even IT. This means we can prioritise audiences, grow market share and work with our external partners to deliver authoritative market insight – see we told you we were proud of those values.
About You
- Over 4 years’ experience of developing social media activity, running, analysing and reporting on high-profile social media feeds, campaigns and community management in either a property focused organisation or a service provider.
- Demonstrable experience in driving organic social media channel performance through organic tactics and how organic and paid campaigns can work together.
- In-depth, up to date, understanding of all major social media platforms including but not limited to those currently used by Foxtons: Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Experience building social first content to drive engagement, acquire new followers and generate brand intrigue focused on Instagram and TikTok.
- Demonstrable experience of how to identify and maximise the opportunity of social media trends, particularly how they can be used to engage clients and develop a positive perception.
- In-depth knowledge of driving SEO value across owned content and channels.
- Proven ability to maximise results by working closely with business stakeholders and multiple internal and external dependencies.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional B2B and B2C teams.
- Experience using social media reporting and community management platforms.
- Creative and analytical mind that thrives in data-driven environments.
- Strives for continuous improvement in processes, results and stakeholder relationships embracing technology to drive efficiency.
- Creative problem solver who is solutions orientated and finds solutions to issues early.
- Confident working independently but thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Passion for content generation for different audiences in different formats.
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, be resourceful and to meet deadlines under pressure, adapting to changing priorities and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Office literate, comfortable manipulating and analysing data sets.
