Job Description:
As the Remote Social Media Manager and Content Creator (Contract Basis), you will be responsible for managing two social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok) for Bia. Your primary role will involve creating and implementing the content strategy and social media strategy to grow our accounts organically. You will be expected to deliver five posts per week, consisting of two reels and three infographics on Instagram, as well as five videos on TikTok.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement the content strategy and social media strategy for Bia's Instagram and TikTok accounts.
2. Create engaging and visually appealing content, including text-based posts, images, videos, and reels, that aligns with Bia's brand guidelines.
3. Utilize graphic design skills and proficiency in tools such as Canva, Figma, or Photoshop to design high-quality content.
4. Film and shoot content related to hair care products, ensuring it is in line with Bia's brand identity.
5. Edit videos using Bia's video editor and employ creative editing techniques to make compelling and shareable content.
6. Stay up to date with current trends and songs on TikTok, incorporating them into content creation to increase reach and engagement.
7. Engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering a sense of community.
8. Implement proven techniques to grow the social media accounts organically, utilizing strategies such as hashtag research, collaborations, and influencer outreach.
9. Monitor and analyze key metrics and provide monthly reports on social media performance, including engagement rates, follower growth, and reach.
Requirements:
1. Experience managing social media accounts for beauty brands is preferred.
2. Proficient in graphic design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Photoshop.
3. Strong photography and videography skills, with experience in shooting and editing content.
4. Familiarity with TikTok trends and best practices.
5. Understanding of hair care products and a passion for the beauty industry.
6. Knowledge of mental health and a commitment to empowering women to feel more confident.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with followers and collaborate with internal teams.
8. Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual and tonal representation.
9. Strong organizational skills to manage content creation, scheduling, and reporting.
Contract Details:
- This role is on a contracting basis rather than a full-time employment position.
- As a remote position, the Social Media Manager will work from their preferred location.
- The contract duration and terms will be discussed during the selection process.
