This exciting role will require you to inspire, engage and delight our Away Resorts customers across our social media channels.

We're not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from their day-to-day. When they are with us, they play crazy games, enjoy show-stopping entertainment and live in the moment. Our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn.
What you’ll be doing
Inspire our existing and new audience bases to discover the world of Away Resorts, using an array of storytelling techniques on our social media outlets – from captivating copywriting, rockin’ reels, and experimental content. At its core, this role is working in close collaboration with the Social Media Manager to conceptualize new strategic ideas, contribute to and develop the content calendar, seek out new content partnerships, and build on the existing strength and growth of our social platforms.
- To schedule content from the social media content calendars on Sprout Social our social media scheduling tool
- To gather user-generated content, internal and brief future content to be utilised on the social media feeds
- To support with reactive requests, inbound to the social team from park members and align with trading priorities to ensure reflected in content showcased across social platforms.
- To contribute to the influencer strategy by booking influencer stays, and collating key metrics/overview documents pre & post stay
- Supporting with analysis, and metric gathering to look at performance from a strategic point of view – recommending improvements and having a creative and analytic approach to tasks.
- To support with aligning strategy and actioning any reactive actions from a top-line trading point of view (Holiday Homes Sales & Holiday) with direction from Social Media Manager
- Helping with keeping a detailed log of boosted paid spend and additional costs from the organic social media department, with Social Media Manager as key-gatekeeper
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
If you are creative, build great relationships with people, and you love the travel industry, then this could be the role for you. Can you demonstrate the following? If so, we’d love to hear from you:
- Degree or College qualification within the relevant areas of expertise (Digital Marketing, Journalism, etc)
- 3+ years in a marketing role, within a B2C business
- Experience using a social media scheduling tool.
- Creative mindset, open to trailing new ideas and seeking out inspiration.
- Story-telling and strong interpersonal skills, to articulate to external and internal stakeholders.
- A good knowledge of social media platforms
