Social Media Executive
We’re currently looking for an energetic and driven Social Media Account Executive to join our fast-paced and friendly Social Media team, within a thriving Marketing Agency in Hatfield, Herts. We specialise in the world of retail, destination, and leisure, so no two days are ever the same!
Our ideal candidate will be digitally savvy and have experience with the key social media channels, and the role will report to and work alongside the Head of Social Media as well as working collaboratively with other members of the Social Media team, the Managing Director, the Client Services team and the Creative Department.
Package offered:
- Salary between £21- £28K per annum (dependent on experience)
- 23 days holiday, plus day off on your Birthday, plus office shut down between Christmas and New Year (not taken as part of your annual leave). Holiday allowance also increases as you stay with the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Creating exciting and engaging content for our client’s social media channels
- Using content calendars and uploading/scheduling social media posts via Hootsuite
- Working on client social media strategies and offering knowledge and guidance
- Monthly reporting and on-going data analysis including paid media
- Maintain a good client relationship including monthly on-site meetings (regular travel required)
- Monitoring of social media channels and acting on any engagement appropriately (some out of hour’s cover may be required)
- Staying on top of current and emerging trends in social media, technology and popular culture and an aptitude for applying these in social media campaign concepts
- General team/admin support
You will have ongoing training support by the Social Media team and have the opportunity to progress further in the social and digital field, should you demonstrate flair, enthusiasm, and ambition.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Microsoft Office
- Google Docs
- Proven experience in working with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Hootsuite (or similar scheduling platforms)
- Canva
- Great examples of original social content
- Experience in working with budgets and ad spend
- Proven ability to increase social statistics (examples welcome!)
- Good knowledge about the social media industry, and about current trends/algorithms
- The ability to work with KPI's / monthly targets
- Previous experience in working with clients
Personal Spec:
- At graduate level or equivalent qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Organised
- Good music taste for the office Spotify playlist!
- A love for social media and all things social
- Excellent team-working, collaboration and networking skills
- Highly motivated and committed with a strong work ethic
