We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing intern to help manage, enhance, and optimise our social media channels.

You will have unprecedented responsibility with the opportunity to make a real, noticeable difference within the company.

Organising and running marketing campaigns over our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) managing social media, and creating original content as well as organising promotional activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on all business social media platforms that are consistent with the company’s brand identity
  • Setting up social media ad campaigns to increase engagement and target new audiences
  • Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with an organisation’s brand and social media strategy
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Developing new social media strategies and campaigns and working on seasonal campaign content
  • Experience on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
  • Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns and how they convert into sales
  • Monitor all mentions/tags of our products from customers, influencers, business and interact by reposting content
  • Reach out to influencers to promote our product range using promo code incentive, and other ways to promote our product range, managing influencer campaigns (liaising with influencers, coming up with creative concepts for campaigns)
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Writing the text/copy for social posts & ads, with keen attention to detail when it comes to spelling and grammar
  • Basic photography skills
  • Facebook Ads Manager

SEO Duties

  • carrying out keyword research using software to optimise web content
  • tracking metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page using platforms such as Google Analytics
  • monitoring and reporting on search trends and SEO performance
  • analysing websites and social media pages to make recommendations for improvement
  • performing competitor analysis to identify content gaps and areas for improvement in website design
  • staying up to date with new SEO, social media and digital marketing industry trends, tools and practices, which are constantly changing
  • implementing link-building strategies
  • making suggestions for SEO-friendly content creation
  • optimising webpages for mobile devices.

Person Specification :

  • Excellent communication and creative skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Great understanding of social media trends and features and ability to tell a story through content
  • Have a native level of English and be able to communicate effectively with the team.
  • Have an innate interest in social media
  • Hard-working, passionate and self-motivated individual
  • Understanding and appreciation of storytelling, relatability and what binds a community
  • A deep understanding of social media (especially Instagram & Facebook)
  • Great short form writing skills for social media
