ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Social Media Executive, your role will involve supporting our Senior Social Media Account Managers in creating, optimising and reporting on both the paid campaigns and organic content that we manage and liaising with clients to develop new ideas and marketing messages. The successful candidate will have a passion for all things social media, have a creative yet analytical mind, be able to work both on their own and as part of a team and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have digital marketing experience or a relevant qualification, but more important is your enthusiasm and ambition to succeed. Full training will be provided and the successful candidate will be supported in gaining industry-specific qualifications to become a certified Social Media Account Manager.
THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE
Learning and applying new skills: Executives are expected to learn and apply new skills. This involves working with staff and software, as well as learning about social media strategies and ad buying.
Following instructions and guidelines: Executives will need to follow instructions and guidelines provided by their supervisor or mentor. This includes completing tasks in a specific order or adhering to specific standards of quality.
Communicating effectively: Executives should be able to communicate effectively with their supervisor, coworkers, and customers (if applicable). This may involve asking questions, reporting problems, or providing updates on progress.
Participating in training and coursework: In addition to on-the-job training, executives will need to complete their Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate exam.
Demonstrating a strong work ethic: Executives should demonstrate a strong work ethic, including a good attitude to work, working efficiently, and being willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Overall, the main goal is to upskill you to be able to handle your own clients and become a full Social Media Account Manager. As such, executives should be committed to learning and improving their skills throughout the duration of their time with us. Working in Digital Marketing will always provide challenges but with a strong team around you we will be able to make sure you are at the top of your game. Eventually aiming to pass your Meta Certified Media Buying Professional exam and having a life long career in social media.
