Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our creative and super-friendly team to manage the social accounts of an award-winning, UK-leading hair extension brand. You will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies for social media marketing across various channels, including both organic and paid. The role will be focusing on increasing brand awareness, and audience growth, as well as driving traffic and revenue via our online channels and other platforms.

This role will suit someone who is creative, analytical, works well under pressure, and is a great team player with excellent communication skills. You will also be acutely socially aware and full of ideas, reacting first to marketing trends and initiating those best suited to our audience’s and brands’ tone of voice.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, adapting and creating content to suit these different channels.
  • Monitoring, tracking, analysing, and reporting on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Facebook Insights.
  • Working closely with the entire marketing team to produce on-brand content that is relevant and engaging.
  • Formulating high-quality written and visual content for each social media campaign to drive community engagement and business growth.
  • Monitoring social media trends and industry competitors, identifying opportunities and risks, and making recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Planning and implementing paid social media advertising campaigns to drive conversions and increase brand awareness.
  • Providing weekly, monthly, and campaign-specific reports, analysing and communicating results to management teams, and making recommendations for key areas of growth and improvement.

Your Current Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in managing social media accounts through both paid and organic.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal following across social media channels by generating unique and relevant content for the brand in line with the brand guidelines.
  • Customer awareness – quick to understand a brand's audience and ability to write in line with the brand's tone of voice, adapting content for different audiences and platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work individually, as well as in a team
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise and manage own workload with little supervision.
  • A passion for all things social media.
