Social Media Coordinator

We are on the lookout for a Social Media Coordinator to join our iconic business.

  • Manage daily posts on all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & some YouTube/Snapchat)
  • Engage in social media presence and analyse regularly, going to on develop strategies to improve and implement new tactics
  • Manage social media communications
  • Build relationships with external social media and marketing agencies who can future develop the brands social media channels
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and align campaigns with the social media strategy
  • Working with the marketing team to produce quarterly social media strategies including lower level marketing campaigns relating to relevant events such as Valentines Day, Christmas, fun national days and social media trends such as content types, general trends and one-off hypes
  • Be the positive, friendly and professional voice of the brand across all social media channels
  • Build relationships with external brands and generate collaborative leads for prizes, competitions, give away’s and other opportunities across social media channels to widen the brands audience base
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media
  • Assist with monthly social media content creation, including photography

Other

  • Be current across emerging trends and developments, specifically food based
  • Conduct regular competitor research to ensure the brands social media strategy remains ahead of the competitive set
  • Regular analysis of SEO, PPC and email campaigns

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience managing social media is essential
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, especially business and content writing
  • An excellent understanding of social media and the specific marketing tactics required to optimise each platform
  • Organised and efficient in time management as well as meeting deadlines
  • Creative
  • Tech savvy
  • Networking and communication skills
  • Good use of initiative and working independently
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
