We are looking for a Social Media Communication and Engagement Officer Intern to help grow and manage our social media platforms, focussing on Instagram and LinkedIn, but with a view to manage our Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest profiles too. Background in paid social media ads and Google Ads/Shopping would be desirable but not essential.
Previous experience managing and growing business social media platforms is required for this role. Knowledge in the medical, health or veterinary industry would be beneficial.
Successful candidates will have a chance to work as part of our team creating industry-leading health education content for professionals and consumers.
This is a home-based role with the opportunity to work with the team virtually. Professionals, students and graduates are invited to apply, but please no agencies.
Job duties:
- Communicate and engage with current followers
- Research new audiences, followers and accounts
- Seek and co-ordinate collaborations with influencers
- Analyse and report on profile insights
- Actively contribute towards content ideas, trends etc
- Set up and manage paid social and Google ads/shopping (if experienced)
Requirement:
- Applicants must be based in the UK
- Be willing to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team
- A minimum commitment of 10 hours a week
