Overview
Brand new opportunity in 2022 for anyone looking to work within music and events, with one of the UK's largest music / festival / event owners and organisers. The roster will knock your socks off and give you incredible experience and contacts within this exciting space, working on paid media campaigns for events both in the UK and globally.
A one-off opportunity for a creative, passionate and self-starting Social Media Assistant to join the marketing team at an events and festival brand, working on some of the largest scale festival and event brands in the world.

The Role
The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for content curation, assist with the maintenance of the Social Media channels, and digital planning, in support of the marketing arm of the business. The role will report to the Social Media Manager.
Role Responsibilities:
- Curate content for social media;
- Assist with the development of the content calendar;
- Influencer research;
- Update weekly Spotify playlists;
- Brief and delivery of UK and US Chart assets;
- Assist with the development of on-site content;
- Monitor brand presence on socials and deliver weekly social reports;
- Remain current on latest industry and culture news; and
- Assists social media management with large projects, events and community management.
Job Requirements
- Immersion in and passion for Afrobeats culture
- Passionate and knowledgeable about social media and digital platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok
- Highly creative, with an ability to create image-based and video content
- Experience and understanding in the management of databases and e-mail marketing
- Excellent, consistent copywriting skills in maintaining the brands tone of voice
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and able to work well under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- Attention to deal, particularly when proofreading copy, design briefing and reviewing design feedback
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Skills & Competencies
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-design skills (Desirable)
- Experience of film/audio/photo editing (Desirable)
- Experience of using CRM systems (Desirable)
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum (negotiable on level and experience)
Location: Remote (Main head office is in London, but you can be based from anywhere in the UK)
Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm (Expected to work longer hours or weekends during peak volume times)
