The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for activating the social media arm of both GAME & BELONGs marketing campaigns. From announcing new game releases to keeping our followers in the know of all our best offers this role will be developing GAME & BELONGs social media across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, Twitch & TikTok. Their primary role will be to build & implement social campaigns and content across a variety of social media platforms to drive acquisition, customer retention and engagement.
The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan and will work to specific briefs and instructions led by the Social Media Manager. They will be instrumental in content ideation and creation across TikTok.

Delivering Trade messages
- Daily social content around products and product offers
- Campaign reporting for both internal and external stakeholders

Paid Advertising
- Supporting the Social Media Manager with paid advertising campaigns
- Briefing in assets and paid plans
- Reporting on performance
- Working with an agency to gain paid media knowledge and skill set

Communication
- To take briefs from the Trade Marketing team
- Create design briefs for the creative teams within marketing
- Build on relationships via Trade Marketing team with key Stakeholders and Publishers
- Communicate with other fascia’s across Frasers Group to unlock opportunities
- Maintain relationships and expand on Influencer database

Research
- Keep up to date will all social media trends, new product launches and updates
- Suggest activation plans for new platforms when they arise
- Weekly, monthly & annual reports
- Campaign reporting and development
- Content trends, ideation, and creation
- Previous work experience gained through employment or internship
- Proven passion for social media
- Past experience in running social accounts blogs, news sites or other communications experience
- A professional, confidential and flexible approach to working with people internally and externally
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations and fast-paced environment
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and excellent work ethic
