Salary range: £21,780-£24,780
We’re looking for an enthusiastic social media assistant to support our work helping YouTube creators in publishing their content on other platforms and in other formats.
You will pride yourself on being forward-thinking and on the thoroughness of your work, bringing a zeal for detail to this growing area of the business. You may be a media production or film studies graduate, or have no formal education in digital media, but you will have a demonstrable interest in working behind the scenes towards a creative endeavour.
You will be excited by the prospect of a role that demands you to be continually flexible as to priorities and approaches. Digital platforms change frequently, as do trends, and our clients' goals. Strong organisational skills are a must as they enable you to respond to these changes quickly and successfully.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of social media content strategies on clients’ Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Patreon accounts.
- Contributing to the strategies and schedules of client accounts.
- Working closely with editors, talent management team, and with clients to ensure all content, assets and deliverables are in line with the content strategy and budget.
- Maintaining content schedules, databases and reference materials.
- Creating basic image posts and copywriting.
- Sending contracts and communicating schedules to freelance and remote staff.
- Supporting quality control of video and captions and editorial review of content.
- Supporting the post-production schedule through to publication and reporting.
You may have no experience of editing software, but will be familiar with the process.
The role will not involve any camera work or editing, but will provide an insight into the role of producers and post-production.
You will have the option to work fully remote. Or, hybrid remote and be based at either our offices in Northampton, or at our co-working space in Nottingham.

You may be required on occasion to travel to our Northampton office for quarterly meetings.
