About the Role:
The post holder will work with the Senior Communications and PR Officer to implement St Giles Hospice’s social media and communications activity in line with the overall organisational strategy; working collaboratively with teams across the hospice to help meet the goals of the organisation.
With experience of coordinating successful social media and communications activity you will work with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver a marketing and communications strategy ensuring all internal and external stakeholders understand the work of St Giles, key messages, brand guidelines and tone of voice that ultimately has a positive impact on our income generation, external brand recognition and reputation within the sector.
Building excellent relationships with internal departments, local media and media partners, you will support the Senior Communications and PR Officer in promoting our work through online and offline channels. Ensuring high brand recognition protecting our reputation at all times.

St Giles Hospice is a registered charity offering specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge for people living with terminal illnesses, as well as providing support for their families and carers. Our services are rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission.
We care for patients from across our catchment area, which ranges from the West Midlands to East Staffordshire.
Care is offered at the hospice's centres in Whittington and Sutton Coldfield as well as in patients' own homes across the region.
We spend around £10million a year providing our specialist services and, with 25% of this funded by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and income generation from the local community.
