The world of communications is changing rapidly. With 3.6bn social media users worldwide, and an expected 4.4bn users by 2025, social media has overtaken PR and Paid content as the primary, always-on platform to host, promote and share brand storytelling. It has also become an incredibly powerful, cost-efficient, hyper targeted selling tool. For customers, social media uniquely allows direct engagement with brands in full public view, necessitating real-time, connected reputation management programmes that manage customer satisfaction, crisis mitigation and ultimately loyalty.
In recognition of the value of the channel across the entire customer lifecycle, JLR has created a new Global Social Media team, which forms part of the Global Communications department within Commercial. This role will support the global social media team by providing real time data and insight which will help inform strategy and execution. This individual will be responsible for the day to day use of Sprinklr and will play a pivotal role in educating the business on social data to justify decision making.
This role will have to serve ad-hoc requests for data from stakeholders across the business and will also play a key role in educating various functions and markets on how to use Sprinklr and how it can empower our journey to a modern luxury business.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Own all reporting and dashboards for the global social media team across Sprinklr
- Manage reporting for organic and paid activity from JLR's owned channels
- Deliver reporting for earned conversations around JLR and other news stories
- Manage all reporting requests that come into the global social media team
- Present data and results in meetings across the business
- Work closely and build relationships with markets and other teams across the business, to support their needs
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As the Social Media Analyst, you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Significant experience in data analysis
- Good understanding of current and emerging social media platforms
- Confident generating, interpreting and manipulating social insight and measurement data
- Experience working with Sprinklr
- Confident presentation skills
