About the role
As the Social Marketing Executive you’ll be responsible for delivering impactful and engaging organic social content for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in line with the social content calendar.
You’ll execute on various content, working on a range of social media platforms to help support and grow our audiences. You’ll communicate consistently and connect with the audience using the tone of voice and brand.
As the point of contact for teams, you’ll work with closely with the customer service team providing social media guidance, whilst monitoring and reporting performance, regularly sharing insights gained from social media to internal stakeholders.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you
You'll have first-hand experience of working for a variety of social media platforms, as well as previous experience of copywriting.
With excellent team building, organisation, and communication skills, you’ll be able to develop new and exciting ways to increase our audiences. Using your initiative, you’ll monitor social media platforms to identify and engage within platform.
Experience of running social media for a complex portfolio, you’ll be a self-motivated and ambitious individual with the ability to build strong rapport with key stakeholders. You’ll understand the power of digital tools in making a difference and have a strong understanding of content from a user’s perspective and use this to the BHF’s advantage.
