Job description
We're looking for an experienced site manager to manage our teams of operatives on site throughout, Gateshead, Newcastle and County Durham. They will have prior experience with-in Social Housing voids contracts and the ability to work to a tight schedule.
Social housing is in high demand and as such, it's vital that the void properties are repaired, renovated and re-let as quickly as possible and to the highest standards, following the manta of "Right on time, first time", these properties are not just bricks and mortar, they're homes for the people that need them, including vulnerable, elderly and disabled people, we all deserve to live in a nice safe place to call home and your job will be to ensure the high standards are upheld and met, prior to handing the property back to the Authority for letting.
You will liaise with our Contract co-ordinator and our clients to ensure the job runs to schedule and budget. You'll check and sign-off time sheets for the operatives and agree any variations on works with the client.
The successful applicant will receive a company vehicle and fuel card to use for their work and commute to and from site.
The successful candidate will require a valid CSCS card / SSSTS or SMSTS.
The pay will be 35,000 plus, depending on experience and skill set.
