As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients’ care. You will support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinics.

You’ll receive an annual salary up to £24,550 per annum - dependent on experience. We offer a whole host of additional benefits such as: cycle to work scheme, free uniform, an extensive training and development structure for all employees along with an employee recognition scheme.

HMP Leeds is s category B men’s prison based in Leeds, Yorkshire. The Leeds team adopts an inclusive, compassionate and punctilious attitude towards each other and their patients. Leeds is an unpredictable, fast paced environment where care is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
