Golley Slater is looking for a Social and Digital Planner to join their thriving integrated marketing agency.
The Social and Digital Planner will work on media strategies in response to client briefs outlining platforms, role for platforms, detailed audience targeting, media spend by platform, recommended formats and buying method and measurement KPIs. They will also be responsible for the curation of social media plans and the post campaign reporting for their channels.
This position is hybrid working with a requirement to be in the Cardiff office fortnightly.
This position does not require activation, content/copy creation, or community management experience.
What you will be doing:
- Developing paid social & digital strategy development for existing and potential clients.
- Identifying appropriate platforms, digital media owners, role for platforms, detailed audience targeting, media spend by platform, recommended formats and buying method, investment split and measurement KPIs.
- Presenting social and digital media strategies and media plans to client and colleagues.
- Working alongside the digital activation team to optimise campaigns and re-distribute budget, if necessary, when campaigns are in-flight.
The essential skills and experience you need to be successful in the role are:
Essential:
- 2- 4 years of experience in a social/digital planning role.
- Previous experience within a media agency essential.
- Strong social media and digital planning capabilities including ability to use Meta, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube planning tools.
Desirable but not required:
- Ability to understand, interpret and use complex and varied sources of data and statistics.
- Able to simplify and explain complex plans and strategic thinking with the ability to present to peers and clients.
- Have strong rapport and regular communication with social and digital media owners.
