Job description
As an airline, easyJet faces numerous cybersecurity threats that can put the sensitive information of its customers and operations at risk. A Security Operations Centre (SOC) analyst is an essential part of easyJet's defence against these threats.
Team
You will be part of the Security Operations Centre and support the team in the investigation, response, and remediation of cyber security incidents.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from various departments, including IT and data protection, to strengthen our defences and make us a more efficient digital business. You will be part of the Security Operation Centre and support the team in the investigation, response, and remediation of cyber security incidents.
An important aspect of this role is providing IT teams with security focused technical support to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations. You will also escalate issues as appropriate.
What you'll bring to the team
The ideal candidate for this role will have an understanding of cyber security principles, problem solving skills, creativity, an analytical mindset, a desire to learn, strong communication and collaboration skills, experience in the wider information technology area, and experience with ticketing systems.
Desired qualifications and experience for this role include a relevant degree (such as IT, computer science, or engineering), relevant certifications (such as AWS, Azure, or CompTIA), at least 1 year of experience working in a cyber security role, and experience with vulnerability management or threat intelligence systems.
