As a Quality Assurance Inspector reporting to the Quality Assurance Field District Manager, you will champion Smart Metering!
The opportunity…
You will be supporting team members within the smart metering technical quality assurance team both to maximise their performance and contributions to meet future needs of the business, ensuring skill and knowledge sharing takes place, whilst adhering to appropriate Health and Safety guidelines and supporting the goal of incident free performance within Smart Metering.
There is also an exciting opportunity to provide mentoring support to new operatives as part of their assessment and working to assist the wider team as and when of which may include travel and overnight stays to other areas within the UK.
You will carry out the Smart Metering Annual monitoring and Inspection Plan, additional quality assurance checks of dual fuel metering work and over the shoulder checks on Both EDF peripatetic and FFSP field operatives to ensure that they are carrying out metering installations to the correct training methods preferred by EDF Energy.
Opportunities may also arise for additional training and upskilling to three phase, CT metering, Gas medium pressure and EV.
What we’re looking for…
Being a Quality Assurance Inspector at EDF means you must be Dual Fuel qualified in Smart Metering, and preferably an experienced individual for this Role. You will have a diplomatic approach with customers, work colleagues and experience in incident investigation, statement writing.
Excellent communication and IT skills are key as you will be undertaking, Quality assurance inspections of Dual Fuel smart Metering Installations and Exchanges, complaint investigations, Offering energy efficiency advice as and when required and supporting the Smart Metering Contract team in relation to site works completed by EDF and our Out Of Area Field Force Service Providers.
(Quality Assurance training may be available for the right candidate)
Travel and overnight stays may be required so you must hold a valid driving licence and have a flexible approach to the role.
