We are looking to appoint a Smart Cities Research Associate related to delivery of an exciting smart cities innovation pilot project. You will work full-time on the project delivery, contributing to the technical development and implementation of cloud-based smart solutions for energy efficiency in the built environment, focusing on software development for energy control, analytics, and visualisation. You should have proficiency in modern IT and cloud-based systems, experience of commercial development in C/C++ environments, PowerBI/Python or similar development platforms, and experience of Matlab/Simulink. You will be PhD-educated in a relevant engineering or technical subject and be familiar with energy and building management systems.
The post is available on a full-time basis for an initial duration of 12 months.
