What we’re looking for:
Are you experienced in delivering high quality lessons/ learning programmes in a variety of learning environments including classroom based and online?
Do you have a teaching qualification or are you willing to train to become a teacher?
Do you hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths?
Are you experienced in working with the Ofsted inspection framework?
Do you have previous experience of teaching Care & Support qualifications, and apprenticeship standards or strong vocational knowledge and skills that allows you to be able to present to and coach peers?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Skills Trainer (Care & Support) on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.

After successfully joining the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers as an Employer provider, we are looking for ambitious people, with a passion for education, to join our Academy team to help shape and create the Academy from inception, through to becoming a centre of excellence to serve not only fellow Peabody colleagues, but our customers, peers and the wider communities.
A bit about the role:
As a Skills Trainer (Care & Support), you will be an expert in Care & Support practices and have the ability to plan for, teach, and support Apprentices and colleagues to complete training and achieve qualifications. You will provide pastoral tutorial support to bring about continuous improvement of the learner experience. Some of the key results for the role include:
Working with the Academy Team in achieving its vision and mission and developing and implementing Peabody’s Strategic Plan.
Consistently deliver high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, while effectively maintaining high levels of quality customer service at all times.
Deliver high quality lessons and tutorials in a variety of learning environments including classroom based and online.
Set a culture of high expectation of performance ensuring achievement of excellent standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and learner satisfaction.
Promote and facilitate a culture of continuous professional development and improvement across the organisation.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
