We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.The key elements of the role are:Under the guidance of the Line Leader, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately.To ensure that any production targets set by the Line Leader or Shift Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner.To maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen, etc.) meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site.To report any equipment defects immediately to the Shift Manager / Line Leader.Reporting to management any issues which may impact on food safety, health & safety, productivity and service levels.Other DutiesMentor (assists & help) new employees within the department.To contribute and participate in projects that may be outside your usual remit as requested and agreed by Management.Be conversant with four strategic pillars (QVIP). Champion this within the department and the wider site.Working with Cemex scale.Routine Testing RequirementsLabelling products on the production line.Working with tape machine/set up on product change.Supporting the Line Leader with product change overs.The ideal successful candidate would be determined to maintain their own standards within the department of a brand new factory and be able to deliver results in a high pressure environment, whilst being able to be flexible and committed to ensure the successful launch of the factory.
