Job description
Larkhall butchers are looking for skilled butchers to join their award winning team in Bath. With both a roaring shop trade and an ever expanding wholesale element to the business, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to increase their skills in all areas of the trade.
The Purpose of this role is to provide support to both the shop and production areas of the business, with plenty of opportunity for career development within the role taking on new responsibilities and areas as desired.
This role will include some of the following duties and responsibilities:
Full carcase butchery
Sausage and value added production
Serving customers in the shop
Cleaning
Unloading deliveries
General butchery tasks
Working to deadlines
Lifting heavy boxes/objects
Flexibility on shift changes as required by the company
Candidates will need to be;
Hard working
Presentable
Team player with good social skills
Self-motivated
Willing to develop and learn new skills
Able to maintain polite and professional correspondence with customers and other employees at all times
Act in the best interest of Larkhall Butchers at all times
Perform other tasks as may be required by the company
Positions are full time and will include Saturdays, four day working weeks are negotiable.
A more extensive list of duties required is available to request. This role is for candidates who have been in the trade for a number of years and have experienced various aspects of the industry. Salary is subject to negotiation and is based on experience, skill and suitability for the role.

Salary: £12.00-£16.00 per hour
