size? Group (part of JD) are looking for an apprentice to join their expanding Insights & Reporting team. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple departments including Marketing, Retail & Merchandising to collate & interpret data from a variety of sources and have a real impact on the future direction of the business.

The apprenticeship will provide you with the skills & experience necessary to lead a long and successful career in analytics, working for one of the most successful retailers in the UK.

KEY DETAILS & PERKS OF THE PROGRAMME:

  • Job Title – Size? Group Insights & Reporting Analyst Apprentice
  • Apprenticeship you will be enrolled on – Level 4 Data Analyst 15-month Apprenticeship (commencing July 2023)
  • Location – JD Sports HQ (Bury BL9 8RR)
  • Hours – Monday – Friday 40 hours

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Translating raw data into meaningful insights – collating, analysing, and visualising
  • Working with various stakeholders across size? Group to understand their specific business challenges & how we can help them
  • Working on a variety of different projects alongside the team, using different datasets, software packages and analytical techniques dependant on the challenge at hand
  • Working closely with senior members of the team on the delivery of the Insights & Reporting roadmap

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Ideally some coding experience (SQL) & proficiency in Excel
  • Confident working with numbers
  • Those with a desire for a long-term career in analytics
  • Level 2 Maths & English (GCSE Level)
