Your mission?
You will be managing the Train Control and Information Solutions (TC&IS) Metier on a Site to meet the QCD objectives of the Site Projects on four engineering Domains : sub-system, software, schematics & apparatus, verification & test according to four Axes : people, processes & tools, reference solutions and performance with an adequate balance between Projects and Metier requirements.
Your key responsibilities?
- Arbitrating in case of issue in allocation of the resources (staff, tools, …) for executing TC&IS work-packages
- Defining the Sub-contracting strategy in liaise with Sourcing and based on inputs from the Domain Leaders
- Defining the yearly Training objectives and arbitrating between the demands from the Domain Leaders
- Networking with his/her peers of other sites to share workload or competencies, under the control of the Central TC&IS Director
- Validating and compiling the investment requests from the Domain Leaders
- Managing his/her Metier by using regularly updated KPIs to continuously improve the performance of his/her Metier
- Chairing regular reviews with the Domain Leaders on Metier topics (people, process, standardization, architecture, technology)
- Leading Return on Experience reviews with the Domain Leaders to submit process improvements to Central TC&IS or to define some changes in his/her organisation
- Regularly updating the TC&IS costing model with inputs from the Domain Leaders to take into account the improvements continuously provided by each Domain
Minimum requirements:
- Experience of hands-on activities in several Domain activities on multiple projects (at least 5 years in Railways or Automotive domain or Aerospace domain)
- Experience in team and project management : 5 to 7 years depending on the team size, multi-metiers or multi-sites team and project
- Fluent in English
- Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) (at least 2 years),
